Sharon Best

Sharon Best is an integral part of the Blue Hill Farm family. Since 1974 Sharon has worked for and trained with three-time Olympian and International Dressage judge Jessica Ransehousen.
As a teenager growing up in New England, Sharon showed successfully in the Junior Working Hunter and Medal/Maclay Equitation divisions on a horse she started training as a two-year-old. Sharon is a USDF Bronze and Silver medalist, and she has bred, raised, broken, and trained horses to the FEI level in the two disciplines of dressage and eventing. While eventing Sharon competed to the Advanced level and was Long Listed and Short Listed for the United States Equestrian Team. For 36 years Sharon operated her own facility, training horses and riders at Fox Hill Farm in Unionville with the constant support of her husband, Tom and their daughter, Sarah. Sharon moved her training program to Blue Hill Farm in 2018 and now works in partnership with Missy and Jessica instructing the BHF clientele. |
