Jessica Ransehousen
Jessica is a AHSA "S" International Judge as well as an F.E.I. "I" judge. She has been involved in judging U.S. Olympic and Pan American trials over the last 30 years. Jessica is the Vice President for Dressage in the United States Equestrian Team (U.S.E.T.)
Jessica's riding accomplishments are many. She competed on the Silver Medal Pan American Dressage Team in 1959. She also rode on the U.S. Olympic Team in 1960 in Rome, in 1964 in Tokyo and in 1988 in Seoul. In 1993, Jessica and Gonzales were on the Bronze Medal Team at the Olympic Festival in San Antonio, Texas. They also were members of the Second Place team at Dressage at Devon in the CanAm Challenge. In 1999, she was second in the Grand Prix and First in the Freestyle with Usufruct at the Dressage Festival at the Equestrian Estates, Loxahatchee, Florida.
In addition to riding and competing, she also has been Chef d'Equipe for the U.S. Team at the World Championships in Sweden in 1990, the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 and the World Championships in Holland in 1994 as well as big International shows like Aachen, Germany and Arnhem, Holland. Jessica also was Chef d'Equipe for the Dressage Team at the Pan American Games in Argentina in 1995 where her daughter, Missy, was on the Silver Medal Three Day Team. Jessica was also the Chef d'Equipe for the Gold Medal U.S. Dressage Team and Gold individual medal at the Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Canada in 1999. In 1996, Jessica was the Chef d'Equipe for the Bronze Medal Dressage Team at the Olympics in Atlanta and also the Bronze Medal Team in Sydney.
Most recently, Jessica was inducted in the USDF Hall of Fame.
